Social Media, Youtube and Print Ads for Mezzacorona
I worked on a project for Mezzacorona, creating ads for two of their wines: Pinot Nero (a red wine) and Pinot Grigio Riserva (a white wine). The goal was to get people interested and increase sales of these new wines. My job was to make designs that looked good for print ads, videos on social media, and YouTube ads. These designs had to show what's special about each wine, like their taste and which foods they go well with. I used pictures of fish, chicken, and pork in the designs, along with the wine bottles. The background colors matched the wine labels – burgundy/violet for the red wine and green/almost turquoise for the white wine. I also made golden text that looked like the writing on the labels. The designs were polished, with a paper texture in the background. I used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects to make them move. The ads came out in three steps over about two years. First on social media, then in print, and lastly on YouTube. Each time, I changed the animation a bit. I also chose and edited music from an online library to go with the animation. A copywriter helped me with the words for the campaign.
